Other Disposal Options

If you can't make it to one of the sites above, check with your local police department, pharmacy, Wegman’s and local community coalition to see if they do medication take-back events on April 22nd or throughout the year.

The DEA also has a list of registered sites that are participating in take-back day.

Monroe County Ecopark has a comprehensive list of locations that you can go to drop off your medications in between Medication Take Back Days https://www2.monroecounty.gov/ecopark/pharmaceutical.php

Visit https://med-project.org/ to request mail back packages for your medication, sharps or inhalers. All you do is submit a form with your address to receive them, completely free of charge. You can also look at their list of available medication drop boxes to find the closest one to you.
